Well, what we experience as an orgasm is what motivates us to have sex. All sexual animals have an instinct to reproduce. Orgasm is what that instinct feels like. It may differ slightly from one species to the next, but each one has something, and you can call that something an orgasm.
The second question: do other animals have sex just for fun. Oh yeah. Sex is a *big* part of life for all primates, including humans. Sex is used to bond groups together, to establish dominance hierarchies, etc. Chimpanzees in particular have sex for reasons other than reproduction, and they do it *far* more often than do humans. Here's a little excerpt from _Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors_ by Carl Sagan (this is chapter 16)
"By human standards, chimp sexual life is a perpetual open-air orgy - compulsive, unending, and always with the male grasping the female from behind. The average copulation rate is one or two an hour, every hour, for each mature chimp. In estrus, of course, it's more."
Jane Goodall observed that when a female is in estrus, the alpha male keeps her to himself. He tries to prevent other males from mating with her. But when she's not in estus, he doesn't seem to mind, and she's allowed to mate with whoever she wants. So that, right there, is proof that they're doing it for more than just reproduction. In many other species, females only mate when they're in estrus, and males are only interested in them during that time. With chimps, as Sagan said, it's a non-stop orgy.
And we share 99.7% of our DNA with chimps.

RE:
Do animals besides humans experience orgasms?
Or, do any other animals have sex for fun (not just because they need to reproduce)?

Sexual drive has a hormonal basis. The surge is related to orgasm and the sex is a motivated phenomenon preceded by foreplay that we see in many animals including birds.

Lots of animals engage in sex acts for purposes other then reproduction, but I don't know if it is for "fun" eihter. I know it can be for dominance, most all species of critters show both hetero and homosexual tendencies too.
