Uhhh.... yeah... there's a certain hygiene issue here... It's like wearing the same underwear for two days. I'd say it's pretty much taboo in any country.

It depends if your nephew is walking a lot in dirty places, as bacteria usually sticks in sock fabric well. The smell and bacteria also builds up if it's not washed thoroughly. Usually, the bad condition of cracked feet can occur, if it's wet. Because of the moisture breaks through the first layer of the skin, resulting in cracked feet. It's not very appealing.

Wearing socks 2 times in a row can be bad, depending on how smelly the feet are.
But don't worry, as long as she washes her feet each day, it's fine :)

well, as long as he is taking them off, washing his feet, and then after they are done washing the socks, then foot fungus should not be a problem. If you are a neat freak then yes, he will be getting a little dirtier around the feet every other day (the second day he wears his socks)

If this is real, you do need help and it looks like you are trying to get it. Maybe you need a "break" from the kids while you are getting better? See if someone can take the kids for a while. Because alcohol and depression with kids in the house is a bad mix. You do not want to lose them. Does their father help at all? And one last thing, if your mother in law sees the kids everyday and knows you have an alcohol issue, why isn't she helping you?

It's recommended that new socks are worn each day, but not an absolute rule.
Your question was a bit confusing, though. Calling your nephew "her" and "she." Wouldn't that make her your NIECE?

It's okay. But if he do not change his socks for a long period period of time (3-4 days) then will feet will really smell.

well... technically the socks are there to collect the sweat that cames off your feet... so putting on new socks is like putting on a dirty workout shirt
you be the judge on that

It would depend if there involved in sports and stuff. But from the sounds of it there young. I wouldn't say its bad But if there highly active then i would say to scare them with pictures of what kind of foot diseases you can get by not being clean. Harsh i guess but it works.
