I would just tell her that I personally do not believe what he said, but she can believe it if she wants to & then drop it. I know someone like that. He's schizophrenic, but I don't know if that has anything to do with WHY he thinks that we believe all those stories. Even his mom says she doesn't believe what he just told us (but not to his face.) He didn't get much positive attention when he was growing up. He said he was run over by a semi when he was a teen so I went & asked his mom & it was true! Boy was I surprised!
Another answerer (Stevie) must be sick in the head or just a pig. I went to the website & it was sickening!

Well....it'd help if you gave us an example of one of these stories. But your friend could be in denial. The only thing you can do is be a good friend...support her...and be there for her if she does get hurt. She'll start pushing you away for being a 'bad' friend if you try and tell her to break up with him.

Tell your friend that you feel her boyfriend is lying and if she wants to get mad at you for being a good friend then she can get hurt on her own and your concious will be cleared because you warned her beforehand.

You don't need to prove naything for your friend. Just stay out of other peoplee's relationships (i don't mean that in a bad way) just don't get betwwen her crazy bf and her unless she wants you there. Although it may seem harsh she needs to figure things out for herself, don't be like her mother

Mind your own buisness. She will figure it out if he is lying and if she gets hurt she will get over it. We all do. YOU just stay out of it. I mean no comments at all. When she talks about him, change the subject.

All you can do is give your opinion. She will have to take it or leave it. If she believes what he's telling her, though, it probably isn't going to matter what you say. Good luck.

you can't do anything. you may cast doubt, but that might also shut down the lines of communication with her. you could encourage her to check the validity of the stories. do they really get to spend much time one-on-one together so she can truly know if they are real? maybe encourage more time together so she can REALLY get to know him.
