If its in good shape, yes. Make sure the neck is not bent, the bridge is in good condition,etc.

Be cautious. I bought a Fender Squier off of eBay for $150 (it came with an amp) and it was great for about a week. It had severe bridge problems and the previous owner had loaded with the wrong strings. It's been in the shop for a month, but it's not costing me too much to fix, so it's not a total loss.

I know little about guitars, but if it's in good shape and you have the money - go for it.
