I think they have that right to the First Amendment(in the Constitution, freedom of Speech, RELIGION, Press, Assembly, etc.....), but they don't have the right to criticize people that believe in God. They can keep their criticism to themselves if they want to criticize people that believe in God. I just think that if people have two very different opinions about something as religious as God, then both sides should keep their mouths shut.
Think about this, when those people die and come face-to-face with God, what will they say? What could be said?

Atheists are the ultamate confused people. I do not believe that there is such a thing as a true atheist. They intentionally deny what thier soul knows is true. To be an atheist, is to be the kind of a person who can look at the sun, at noon, on a clear day, with the warmth of the sun all around them, and say the sun is not shining. All things denote that god is there. The order of the universe, the fossil record, the scriptures, and our very own senses. If we are quiet, and sincere, and spend some time meditating, you can feel him there.
Wether they admit it or not, wether they say they beleave it or not, they know god lives, and is there. But for whatever reason, they just dont want to admit it.
The English philosopher C.S. Lewis once said, That he was once an atheist, and he was mad at god for not exisisting.
That is, until he found god.
just cause you've never seen him, is no basis for claiming he doesn't exisist, especially when the evidence is all around us that he does. That's like saying atheists dont have brains,
Sure, maybe there is a little evidence that they do, but i've never seen one of their brains, How do I know they exisist.

I label myself as an atheist... I do not have any belief in religion or gods. I live to my own valuus and morals drawn from my family life and experiences.
I live everyday appreciating the small and large things in life and feel no need to hav any belief in a god of any sorts. I am content and happy to live this way and have much love for my family, friends, nation and earth.
I do not attempt to impose my views on any other person and i appreciate when people return this favour.
I don't believe anyone has a right to critisize or pity atheists because that merely shows that the person thinks there belifs and opinions are superior .
Religion is a very personal thing and shoud not be effected or critisized by anyone.

Being an athiest is no different whatsoever than being a christian or a Buddhist or a muslim or anything else. I think that most of them have moral values and see their beliefs as good and have good intentions. Some atheists are easy to get along with, even though they differ in beliefs from any one of us, and some are agressive and make fun of you if you are a theist of any sort about.

They have the same rights as any person from any other religion. They should not try and impose there beliefs on any one else, just like all religions should respect the others.

I agree with "The One." They have a right to believe what they do, but I do, also. If they don't like religion, that's fine, but I find it offensive when they make disparaging remarks about God or Jesus.

Having listened to their reasons, they are on a very firm foundation for their disbelief in God (or a god) and i would be both rude and impudent to tell them that they are "wrong".
I accept them (I should; I married one)

To each his own. If they don't try to force their lack of belief down my throat then I wont force my beliefs down theirs--
