me and my bf have sex often. i am on B/C (but i have messed it up about 4 times this month, 2 times last week or this week i cant remember) i was a little scared of being preg right now because i was getting dizzy and not feeling well. and my doctor said it was likley. so i got a bit worried. and she gave me this paper to get tested if i dont get my period. Which i did get yesterday. and it was 4 days early. and when i woke up at 5am to use the washroom it had stopped. and it stopped till around 5 or 6pm today. so i was like ok this is good. but me and my bf wanted to have sex. so we went out and bought some condoms. and i asked if he went and he said yes. and when he pulled out the condom was torn. and i could see his penis sticking through. really bad pretty much all of it was out of the condom. and i was wondering if i should worry about being pregnant now even though im on my period and on B/C (which take in to thought i have messed up) please and thank you for your advice. .xox

It is possible to get pregnant during your period and since your birth control hasn't been taken regularly, it still might not have protected you. So yes, you could get pregnant but I'd say the chances are lower than other times of the month.

there is a chance yes, you could be pregnant. the symptoms you are saying you have, are pregnancy symptoms. it would be too early to tell if your pregnant right now or not, you need to wait 2 weeks and do a home pregnancy test, if its neg, wait 2 weeks and go and get a blood test ok. its just better to comfire your results , then not know for sure. home pregnancy test can be wrong. i took 5 all were neg, i waited 2 weeks and went and got a blood test and found out i was pregnant and i was 8 weeks.so yeah just have one of them done. also being on the pill, using condoms and the pulling out method dont always work and isnt 100% safe either. good luck

Getting pregnant during a period is awfully rare. I think you dodged the ball this time. Now, if you don't want a baby, take your pills every single day and use a second form of birth control (spermicidal foam or gel, or a condom) to make SURE you don't conceive.

Hi! I can understand how you are feeling. The same exact thing happened to me four years ago and the truth is I am now mother of the future Ms World. My baby girl is beautiful! Just stop worrying and do the test again. It is a fact that women can have their menses during the first tri-mester.Stop worrying and do the test. In the interim.......explore other methods of contraceptives......sex with a faithful partner is great without condoms!
