Supposed to be 12 inches here too...but I just drove an hour in it, and it was freezing rain/ice. Much worse to drive on than snow. People were sliding off and crashing all over. I'd count on a snow day here...if this keeps up and we do get the 12 inches. They're bad at cleaning the roads here.
Not that I benefit from snow days anymore, but I feel ya.

We're supposed to get 12-17in where I live, all by 1pm tomorrow. We've gotten atleast 2-4in already, and a lot of ice. I'm hoping for a snow day so that I don't have to go into work Monday!

I love the snow

You're lucky. I live in Atlanta and it snows 2 inches for only 1 day a year. That one day is probably the weirdest day of the year for me.

we don't know where you live. where i live, no way would that be a snow day. but other places, like florida (lol) would have the whole city shut down with that kind of snow.
if you live in a northern region that gets a fair amount of snow, the chances are pretty slim, as they will have most likely plowed it by then.

We are supposed to get a total of 8 inches all together over night...I say you have a chance but it is slim because they will probably have the streets clear by monday

none....unless it snows the morning that you have school the plowers will have cleared the roads by the time everyone's ready to go. but it's supposed to snow again on thursday (at least around here it is) so maybe we can hope for one then! :)
Have a nice day.

You: 65% chance depending how well the clean-up is.
Me: 0% because its raining and I've had school on days when there was 10 inches on the ground and the roads weren't plowed.
