Were they youths who sang "we wish you a merry xmas" and "jingle bells" out of tune?
or were they a group of well tuned choristers with lanterns, singing "o come all ye faithful" and "joy to the world"?

We had a little boy knock on our door last night. We didn't give him anything, don't think it's right that little kids should knock on strangers doors. If they're with an adult that would be different. Would love to have a group of older people come carol singing, that would be lovely. The Salvation Army were playing in town yesterday, they sounded great, made me feel really christmassy!

when I was growing up in the late 50's and 60's- and I remember it during the 70's also, there used to be carollers all the time during this season. Now, you jsut never really hear about it or see it. I personally am not into it- we're Jewish- but I would applaud the thoughts and feelings they are going for!

no i never had carollers come to my home but i wish they would then again what are you supposed to say when they are don? do u give them money? i think it is a nice idea tho defiantly for the elderly!

i'm atheist, and that i'd: A) Slam the door of their faces. or B) Smear ketchup throughout myself bare, positioned white boxers on, open the door and tell them i'm now sacrificing my relatives to my one real God, Okiewhahahdunaclactha.

none have come to my house for at least 20 years. i don't think people do it anymore.
