How come not too many people have PS2 in silver?

Well, I got my first PS2 about 3 months after the PS2's launch and I got another PS2 about 2 years later so I already had 2 PS2's (the big PS2's) so I didn't need another PS2.

The majority of people already had the big black PS2's when the silver PS2 came out.

because everyone already has a ps2 ....

and the silver version JUSST came out recently so.....why would they buy another one...?....
