I went to Universal for Christmas a few years back and it had a nice crowd because of the Grinchmas show, and other holiday features. The lines were not terribly long, but it definitely was not a ghost town.

Of course there is also Disney, Downtown Disney, the Holy Land Experience, and the Prime Outlet Shopping Center!

We went to Disney on New Yrs. Eve one year and it was a bit crowded. But absolutely amazing! I'd definately do it again. I figure that all the parks are busy during Christmas break. Get the fastpass for any rides that you want to do. And maybe head to the ride you absolutely want to do first. Get a map and plan your day according to whatever shows you want to see or whatever. Just go knowing it'll be busy. I think having the right mindset will be helpful with getting through the day without getting aggervated. Get plenty of rest the night before and have fun!!

Just went during the thanksgiving week and it was great.
Not overwhelming crowded. Not a ghost town either.
If you stay at one of the on site hotels, like Hard Rock Hotel, you will have a pass to go onto the express ride line.
That was the best. Well worth the $
Christmas may be a little more crowded.

Universal Studios are often crowded...but all the rides and stuff usually take a lot of ppl in at one time....so even if theres a long line ur gonna have to wait for max. 5 min

do purely no longer pass on a weekend, and don't pass as quickly as the little ones are out of faculty for trip holidays. the key is to decide for days while maximum each and every person is at artwork, and maximum young little ones are in school. then you definitely're probably to have the park to your self. meaning weekdays, no longer weekends. And stay away from the plain tourist seasons, at the same time with summer time and yuletide time. Arrive early. pass on the tram excursion first, in the previous the lines have a great gamble to construct.
