I have been out of school for 20 years, but I had to do this back in 9th grade for skipping school. 3 hours a day for two weeks.
Talk about major writers cramp.

Yep. Several times. I had to copy out of the dictionary, and also out of a manual of school rules and policies.

I had a teacher that made us copy a page (front and back) from the telephone book talk about a pain in the @$$

detention in high school for me is just sitting
