Im a 16 year old male, and I'm only 5"4. My mom is 5'8 and my dad is 5'9, my brother is 5'11, and my sister is 5'1. Will i grow any taller? I feel so short in school. Is there anyway to make myself taller like hang from something?

You will be taller than 5'8. Every boy unless he has a defect will be taller than his mother. Don't worry you'll probably have a growth spurt in the next year or so. If your brother is 5'11 you may be close to that.

Don't worry, you'll get taller.

Biologically speaking, females mature at an earlier age than males do. This explains why many girls tower over boys in elementary school, yet are shorter in comparison by high school. Females have their growth spurt between 9-16 while males have their growth spurt between 13-21. It is perfectly normal for you to be this height; chances are that you still have a few inches to go.

You might grow taller. Everyone's bodies work differently. You could grow two feet in the next two years, or you could have stopped growing already. No one can answer this question truthfully.

However, people normally stop growing in their late teens or early twenties. It's likely you will grow at least a little more, but it's possible you won't.

Don't worry about your height. You can't do anything to change it.

Hi... it seems boys in particular, worry about their height in school.

I have two sons and watched them grow until they were both into their 20's...

You may possibly have one or more growth spurts over the next two years as well.

Hon, don't base your self-worth on your height... It's character that matters more than anything....

take care .
