I like cinnamon /spice in the kitchen and living room. In the other rooms, except the bedrooms, Fresh Berries& Wild Raspberry. In my bedroom Victoria Secret's Pear Glace'
Candles. on the linen Pear Glace' Spray. I'm definitely going to get Moonlight Path though asap. Thanks Debi C, the description that "it smells Purple" was what sold me.

I discovered this a couple of Christmases ago, and it has become a staple now.
I picked up an oil burner from the dollar store years ago. Mostly I used those scented wax pieces you could buy that would melt in the top and slowly release the desired scent while a tea light candle burned below.
Then I noticed little bottles of essential oils being sold as well, and decided to give them a try. I picked up green tea, green apple, pine (I LOVE pine) and frankincense. I was heating the oils separately, about 2 tablespoons at a time and tried the different scents on different days. But one day I only had about a tablespoon of pine oil left...and lots of frankincense (because it isn't a very nice scent on it's own--very overpowering), so I decided to put a tablespoon of that into the burner as well with the pine. WELL!! The scent was divine. Somehow it just SAYS Christmas. So since then I always make sure I have bottles of each oil on hand, and I light up the burner every time I want to evoke a real feeling of Christmas in the house.

I like fresh baked scents in the kitchen/dining area.
I really love the smell of lavender, but I have a hard time finding something that is close to smelling like it.
I get my Yankee Candles on base. I'll have to try Sage and Citrus..

I burn really good Indian incense...I love it. This time of the year, they have a wonderful pine/cedar that fills the house with the wonderful smell of trees.
I'm not big on candles - I have a few around but only when I'm looking for ambience. I'd rather have a coupla sticks burning.

I love the "Baked Apple Pie" candles that I brought with me when I moved from Ohio to the south. It makes the whole house smell like a fresh baked apple pie just came out of the oven.

Avon has a room and linen spray called Lemon Grass that I really like. I am another fan of Moonlight Path. I have that in my bedroom, too.

Vanilla candles! I love the way they smell in my kitchen. Also cinnamon and spice candles. I also burn incense, love cedar and sage, and frankincense and myrrh. At New Year's I always burn a bayberry candle, not only do I love the smell but it is supposed to be good luck for your house if you burn an bayberry candle to the end at the beginning of the new year.
A superstition, I know, but a nice one.
