Life is not the exeption but the rule.
Our technology has barely left the solar system.
I beleive that nature will produce similar results given the same circumstances. Don't surprise yourself to learn thet they might look similar to us, or us to them.
Why is learning where the universe ends is of importance to you?

People, as in human? No. Intelligent lifeforms? Almost deninitely yes.
Think of it this way: the known universe contains about 100 billion galaxies. Each of these galaxies contain about 100 billion stars.
If you think of a galaxy as a BB (as in air rifle shot), the number of galaxies in the universe would be enough BBs to fill an entire football stadium. And each of those BBs would represent another football stadium filled with BBs, where each BB is now a star. And we've discovered hundreds of planets orbiting just the handful of stars closest to us.
Given such a large number of planets, how could there NOT be intelligent life elsewhere?
Have they visited us? I seriously doubt it. Every evidence for UFOs is either explainable by natural or man-made phenomena, or is a personal account with no supporting physical evidence.
The other question is the nature of intelligence. We have no way of determining the motives of another intelligent species. For example, it is hypothesized that dolphins have a highly developed intelligence. However, on earth at least, we are unique in the way we EXPRESS that intelligence.
I do believe that intellectual curiosity is an indispensible part of any definition of intelligence, but how many ways are there to express this? Is searching for other life a necessary component? I don't have answers to these questions.
If I had to guess, I'd venture that at least some of the intelligent species in the universe are, like us, searching for signs of other intelligent life. However, the speed of light is a serious limiting factor in this search. For example, the nearest large galaxy, the Andromeda Galaxy, is about 2.5 million light years away. This means that any radiation-based signal (such as radio waves, lasers, and the like) will take 2.5 million years to cover the distance between them.
Also, these signals rapidly decrease in strength the further you move from the source. Every time you double your distance, the signal strength drops by a factor of four. An artificial signal from a distant galaxy would be incredibly difficult to isolate from natural radiation.
Another problem in this search is that the further away you look, the further back in time you are also looking. Galaxies near the edge of the observable universe are so distant that we are looking into the first billion years or so of the universe's existance. At this remote time, the universe did not have the abundance of carbon, oxygen, sulfur, or other heavier elements that would probably be necessary prerequisites to the development of life. So even if intelligent life has developed in these distant galaxies, any signals they have produced still have a long, long way to travel before they could ever be detected by us.
As for you last question, the OBSERVABLE universe ends at the microwave background radiation. However, the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. Even if we were able to travel at the speed of light, we would never reach an "edge." So in that sense, the universe is infinite.

Here is a hypethetical to consider, If perhaps there are other civilizations out there and whats to say that they are not a million or two years more advanced than the human race,, We have already transported particles from one spot to another creating a kind of wormhole affect so whats to say that they have not mastered it already and became even more advanced,, Just a passing thought although im unsure of other intelligent life but one thing is for sure,, we will never know,,

yes ....but at times no, because people claim to see flying objects unknown and other times studies show that it is false.
Personally i think their must be other forms of life beyond earth because it would be weird to be the only form of life in our galaxy. Some planets have water or our kind of air which means that life is capable of living there. We don't know if there is life beyond our galaxy ...we won't know the real answer until proof is found. IS PRESIDENT BUSH AN ALIEN?LOL to be honest our universe has to end some where.there might be life beyond us so intelligent to build high tech gadgets in their early stages of life.So we really don't have the real answer to that but what i can say is that life beyond our planet has a good possibility. you should study area 51 in Roswell.........they had found a human-like body..........and say that they wouldn't want to examine because of spreadable sicknesses.i think that body that they found is definitely not human type ...i mean look at its head!

i believe that aliens put the first two humans on earth and see how it would go from there. i believe they are observing us right now. and they disguise themselves as humans and some roam the earth. humans only use about 10% of there brains. imagine if aliens used 100%. yes tere is definitely life out there

It's certainly possible. Why should ours be the only planet with developing life forms?

I most fervently hope so. I would be appalled to learn that we humans represent the best this universe has to offer.

I think of questions like that all of the time. Do you just go and go forever also one of my biggest questions are what is enternal life like. What exactly is never ending/enternal/infinite anyway.Personally if god didn't say there was then I don't think there is.

Hello M...
People like us out there...I don't think so.
Life out there...Most probably so. Exactly what kinds, who
knows. We won't know until we go there and explore.
