How could I make a small toy size car, one that I can paint, with things around the house. can someone please give me instructions. and I can't use fire or anything to dangerous. This is for my dad for christmas.

Print in colour if you can, cut and glue in shape, or print, colour with markers and cut and glue in shape.

If that is a little beyond you, what about a box for a truck?
Paint it a nice colour, add a cabin, (either a smaller box, or by colouring a part of the box a different colour,) and add circles for wheels.
