I would unite all of mankind behind a single purpose, getting off this rock and exploring space, terraforming Mars, establishing a colony on the Moon, sending out long range, generational ships in an attempt to seed humanity throughout our little corner of the galaxy. If everyone were devoted to this cause it might not seem so daunting.
