A 1903 1 Peso piece from the Philippines with the words "United States of America" and the US eagle and the year on one side and a lady in front of a volcano on the other side.

The coin was either minted at the Philadelphia mint, no mint mark or at the San Francisco mint (S) mint mark. I think the mint mark is near the date or near the lady's feet. It has been sometime since I had one in my possession. The S mint mark one is the most common. If the coin is in half way decent shape they sell for $15-$25 and if in high mint state close to $100. They are apart of Americana, for we took the Philippines from Spain after the Spanish American war.
