Probably Theo looked at what seats were selling for on Stubhub and decided that if ticket prices were raised, the season ticket owners could still sell their tickets at the same price, but would be making a smaller profit. I have paid around $50 a ticket for upper bleachers when I go. That's $100 to get in, then there's peanuts, cracker jacks, sodas, beers for Daddy. It's over $150 to take one kid or one spouse to the ballgame. And if it's the spouse, throw in the babysitter's cut. Ouch. But I'll still go.

They went up drasticly!

I mean, people will still go to the games no matter how expensive they are!

The Sox is a dynasty! and you have to pay for it!

I spend $4,200 for one seat in the World Series last year!

I wouldn't waste any money on the Sox this year. They're gonna get waxed by the Tigers anyway. No ones gonna stop Murderers Row.
