That is fricking scary guy!! Does she practice witchcraft. Has she seen a fortune teller or asked for her horoscope. I read a book not to long ago about people who practice reading horoscopes or seek fortune tellers. It said that we open portals of evil and invite them in our homes without knowing. Even if it seems harmless. I would pray and ask her to check where she has been that would lead this. It also said that 3:00 in the morning is when most paranormal actions happen. I don't mean to scare you more but you need to clean your house because if you are dealing with any dark powers you will need to pray for cleansing.

That's really creepy. I have night terrors, but it's nothing like that, and I've never threatend to kill my husband. I've just done strange things, like started to run while laying down and started punching the air. Sounds to me like something else is going on. A lot of the time if there is a dark presence it will try to create problems between family members. You should videotape her while she sleeps and see if she does anything else. I would get into contact with a paranormal investigator or a sleep doctor and have them video tape her sleeping...have the paranormal investigator research your houses history and investigate your house. It doesnt hurt you know. Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck and God bless. I really hope everything works out.

I don't think its anything to worry about. She might have night terrors, its when you are having a dream which you awake from but still see the things in your dream and it seems as though you are awake. How do you know she really meant you? She could have been having a dream where someone was trying to hurt her and she was saying that to them. Just wait and see if she has another episode like that. I'm sure you will be just find, usually people who are going to kill someone don't let them know ahead of time lol.

Also night terrors are different in every person, so don't believe what that person below me said! I have them also, and sometimes I wake up talking crazy to my bf and he just laughs it off and tells me I'm dreaming. So please don't be too frightened I'm sure you're safe.

Woooo...that's scary.
But, was she reading a novel or watching TV or a scary movie before going to bed?

If she is "normal" during woken-up hours, nothing to be concerned about. It was just a nightmare. If she does it again, sleep separate in a locked room or run to the nearest exit door.

Some people talk or walk in their sleep, she may have been in the middle of a dream having nothing to do with reality. A bf of mine once woke me in the night saying "Did you remember to bring the blood?" It was spooky and he said he had no memory of it, I believed him and chalked it up to restlessness. If it is the only time it has happened I think you are over reacting. You could suggest she talk to her doctor, perhaps have a sleep study done. Of course, tell her you are concerned about her well-being, not that you are scared of her.

DAMN!!! I don't blame you!!!! That would freak me out big time and I think I'd be sleeping in the guest room from now on with a lock on the door so she couldn't get in!!!

Don't know if you remember but there was this case about 5 or 7 years ago where the father had a problem with sleep walking. His wife knew it but he'd never done anything to THEM. He'd hurt himself before, stumbling down the stairs or something but she never worried for herself or her children. Yet, one night as they slept he supposedly killed them all "in his sleep." They had 2 or 3 children. He went downstairs, got a knife out of the kitchen and proceeded to kill every one of them and then cleaned up the scene! His lawyer tried to get him off using the sleep walking thing but no jury bought it. He was convicted. After seeing that....yeah, I'd be sleeping in the guest room!!!

Did you ask her the next day if she had any strange dreams?? Lots of people talk in their sleep and when they do they often appear to be awake. Kinda like sleep walking. Unless you have real reason to fear your wife I think you can ignore this occurrence.

Make sure you talk to her about it in daytime hours and make sure she knows how badly it scared you. Maybe she was just dreaming and she didn't even say it to you. Either way, wouldn't hurt to sleep with YOUR eyes open for a week or two.

Lock up the knifes and other sharp items at night. She may not go for the throat! Were you dreaming or was she?

Well has she ever tried to hurt you before or hurt you before? Does she talk like that during a wake state? She was probably just dreaming and didn't even know she did it. Chill out...it is probably nothing
