My Family lives fairly close to each other. We all help and pitch in to help the Hostess, my Niece this year. My Brother drives 350 miles to come, so guess it is worse for him. With the frightful weather here (my County was declared a Disaster Area due to a horrendous Ice Storm)- oh, and today, we had about 7 inches of snow to top it all off, we will be thankful if the weather has settled down by Christmas.

I admire you for having the Family over. I'm openly going to say I'm glad I'm NOT. My Niece has a 5,000 square foot home, and I DO NOT- lol!

What really matters is that we will all be together- about 40 people in the immediate family. I am also thankful I'm clean and sober, as there were many years back I didn't bother. Didn't care, and had to be wasted to attend. NICE HUH?

You have a WONDERFUL time, a MERRY CHRISTMAS, and a GREAT 2008! God Bless You and Yours!

Luckily, my brother and his family are hosting Christmas Eve this year and they only live a few miles away. Christmas day my children will be with their dad. I am thinking toast with peanut butter as dinner and no clean up!
