I asked a question about "see you later" being misinterpreted and someone suggested changing it to "bye for life". Should we also change "how are you?" to "I acknowledge your existance, now please keep moving"?

Yes. When someone asks 'how are you' I always say 'fine' because I assume they don't really care how I'm doing. I know I don't care how they're doing. I prefer 'fine thanks' to 'fine and you?' because then they'll say 'well my son is getting divorced, and my husband - he's been having these headaches...' and I have to say 'ahh, this is awkaward but I didn't really mean it.'

These are merely polite expressions that are not subject to misinterpretation except by troublemakers. I see no reason to change them.

after careful consideration, i have decided that you must have misinterpreted something along the line. it just doesn't sound rational.

hahahaha. I'm going to try that. "Bye for life".
Growing up I always said 'goodbye' to my mother instead of 'goodnight' just to keep her on her toes.
