I been asking myself this question for a long time. I was wondring wether, i was really inlove with my best friend or was i forcing myself into loving him because:
---His my first love
---Low Self esteem
I know i have feelings for him, but i don't know if i really love him. I summarize how i feel about him in this brief summary:

That's a lot of feelings in there....but love is action too. If you can truly say you can give up everything for him and even die for him if necessary, than that is true love and you truly love him...."No love is greater than one who is willing to lay down his life..."

It is possible that you are the aggressor in this loving thing. On the other hand , your friend is quite receptive to your advances and from what I see, he isn't turning away. So is he as serious about the relationship as you are? This is the question you will have to figure out.

You know the answer already don't you? You deserve better, and you already seem to know how important Love could be. Don't sell yourself short..don't settle for something that doesn't work. Life is hard sometimes, and Love can seem elusive, but keep trying.

i think you are scared of being alone so you take what you got and try really hard to be happy with it. idk because all people are more complacated then you can write in a paragraf. but take things slow and see what happens.

Wait, did you say that your best friend already kisses you and makes love to you..then he is not just a best friend, right? And you were already in love with him? But anyway, I don't think that you are "forcing yourself". It seems to me that you already are in love with him.
