I thought it was incredible!!!! I was so excited for them. I was a bit upset, because I live near Chicago, and the Cubs were still getting the headlines on the papers and the news. The White Sox did not drop out of 1st place the whole year, and it would always be the Cubs lost to blah blah... and the White Sox stretch their winning streak to 5. The playoffs were so action packed and I loved every minute of them. That final out was incredible, and after they won, I couldn't stop smiling for days. Wouldn't it be great if they did again soon!? And to all those people who say it was a fluke: going 11-1 in the postseason is not a fluke, staying in first place for the whole year is not a fluke, they did amazing things that year, and you cannot say it was all luck. That team had skill and heart, and I will never forget the memories they gave us.

I would say that it was like nobody expected to happen. But when you start a season, you don't know which teams will be good and which teams will be bad. And you don't know which one will make the playoffs, and who will win the championship. But it was good for the Chicago White Sox, that they end thier long drought, and they did have it go on longer, unlike thier cross town rivals the Chicago Cubs, whose drought may never come to an end. And how about that thier fans, got to see them win it in thier lifetime. But of course, I didn't think that they could even beat the Boston Red Sox, who were, and once again the defending World Series champions, so I picked them to lose, since the Sox (Red) were more experienced this decade in the playoffs, and even the fact is that you might have forgotten, that they were swpet out of the playoffs, in 2000 against the Seattle Mariners who then was manged by Lou Pineilla that now manges the Chicago Cubs, and who would have believed that 7 years later, he would come to town to mange one of the 2 teams.
