I was on probation about 2 or 3 years ago...My license was suspended, but when I got out of jail for the 2nd time it wasnt and my probation officer knew it wasn't. So I got my license while on probation...after I was through with probation I lost my license and I went to the DMV to get a new one and they told me my license was suspended for my probation that I had already finished...so now I have to go to DUI school...the reason I was on probation was a drug charge....but I wasnt even driving when I got caught!!! I dont know what to do>I have went to see my probation officer again, didnt help I have called the court house they wouldnt help me...they said "we cant help when they get around to suspending license's" no one is helping so what do I do?? just suck it up and go through DUI school that I shouldnt have to go through or what??? Someone help me!!!!

I'm sorry but a lawyer isn't going to be able to do much when dealing with the DMV. When you get two DUIs, you are at the mercy of the county and the state and will have to pretty much do what they say if you want your license back. You only other real option is to call the DMV a few times and try to get some better answers because most of the people that work for them don't know what is going on.

You can always try to contact your congressman and explain the situation but I've only known that to work for very few people. It seems to me like you are making this a lot harder on yourself than it has to be. Just stop fighting everything, take the classes, and stop driving drunk, maybe even go to an AA meeting because you kinda sound like the typical resentful and extremely willful and defiant alcoholic (I truly mean that in the nicest possible way)! Good luck to you.

Edit: Read a little closer, maybe try NA ;-) Really though, most states always suspend driver's licenses for drug and paraphanelia charges nowadays.

Anytime you go to prison for drugs thats the same as a DUI charge.Especially if you were ever caught driving under the influence.Suck it up and go to DUI school and LEARN from your mistakes and dont repeat them.
Remember:
Do the same things you've always done, you'll get the same things you've always got.

You can spend a lot of money on an attorney or you can try to fight it yourself which is very time consuming and frustrating or you can go to DUI school and suck it up. Those are your only options.

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive! Don't break the law and you won't have to deal with beaurocratical red tape. You play... you pay. Your putting a strain on our judicial system, at the taxpayers expense. Now you want the public to solve your problems. Live and learn, but this time learn the right way.

Doors are being slammed shut for a reason.
Sounds like counciling is needed. You need more than you are willing to do right now.Gather up yourself and find out why its only your license you seem to be obsessing over.

you need to call the drivers license bureau of the state your license is issued in. they should be able to tell you why.
do you have any unpaid driving/parking tickets? legal trouble? victim of ID theft? owe back child support? let you car insurance lapse?
then go from there.
