i keep hearing early 2008 but i'm not sure.
Dr Dre: Detox pushed back
According to allhiphop.com rumors, a source has recently revealed that Detox may be pushed back for a release date in early 2008. It was earlier reported that dr dre's detox would be released September 2007.

Dr. Dre is eyeing 2008 for his first album in seven years, "Detox," but says the project will be his last. "I think it's time to move on," he tells the Los Angeles Times, calling rhyming "a young man's game." According to Interscope, there is no firm date for the album.
The iconic rapper/producer made his first major public appearance in recent memory last month at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas. He is devoting the next two months to working on Eminem's next album, and tells the Times anything unrelated to producing, weight training and time with his family is not on his agenda.
However, there is new business to report. Dre recently inked a multi-year production pact with New Line Cinema, under which he will join longtime collaborator, director Phillip G. Atwelll, to score and possibly direct films.

the two his albums are classics. The continual has been hailed as 'the final produced hip-hop album of all time.' i'm excited for it, yet i save getting dissapointed by making use of it getting pushed back. ^hahah he made the comparable mistake because of the fact the sport... It was said to be dropped after 50 Cent, Eminem, Bishop Lemont, and them himself, in that order.
Being a perfectionist is just an excuse. It's been pushed back so many times, I don't even understand why there is still all the hype about it.

It is all strategy and this way they will have better sales of the album on the relese date so it will hit platnum!!!!!!!! they make you impatient and then more and more people get impatient so finally when it releses all the fans just bombard the stores to get it. it is a marketing thing

ik seriously...he announced in like 2000....if it doesnt come out in 2008 i probably wouldnt count on him releasing it

i didn't even know he was planning on dropping anything.
but, you know Dre is a PERFECTIONIST. but, it's so going to be worth the wait.
