I usually only ask once a week and every time she turns it into a big deal, and she has never asked for it ever and we have been married for 8 years, life is too short I think I'm going to look somewhere else and see how much she misses it when I'm gone

The way I see it is I wouldn't blame u. I know I need it often and if there was not a legit reason for him not giving it first, I'd do myself and after so long and that wasn't cutting it no more I'd have no choice but to go elsewhere but thats after I discuss the problem w/ him.

Maybe it is because she is busy raising the kids, cooking dinner, helping with homework, cleaning the bathroom, shopping for groceries, nursing the baby and cleaning up the family room for the 5th time today. One of the most romantic things a husband and father can do is to take care of the kids all day by himself, cook dinner and give his wife a break from the routine that she does every day. Try it and see if her intrest doesn't perk up. However I must warn you that if you do all the things your wife is probably doing on a daily basis, your intrest in sex will be about as strong as your wifes is .

get a sitter for the kids and plan a surprise for her. make sure it is not sexual in any way, shape or form. think of it like a first date...or going out with a friend (which she should be your best friend)

write her a letter telling her how much you love her, she is a good mother and wife. run thru some fun memories that you both share.

make her breakfast in bed, one morning. slip a note in her purse. just do "little things", to let her know that she is special to you.

you need to reconnect on the emotional level. without that emotional connection, sex just isn't worth anything.

I completely agree with Mary N. There is nothing more romantic that my husband playing with the kids on the living room floor while I take a shower. Try little things like maybe holding hands and little shows of affection. If you are going to cheat, someday you will regret it and put both of you through a lot of pain and grief.

I would 1st try to go to a sex therapist before you go to looking. She could have some kind of medical condition that has lowered her libido. If she doesn't think she needs help and is just fine with life without sex then yes file for divorce.

what is 'it'.....8 years of marriage and you can't write 'sex' or do you mean BJ's? first thing...stop asking!!! no one wants to perform if it is like a duty or chore. I know you think that she'll never do it if you don't ask, but thats not true...give her a chance to do it on her own....sounds like you are pretty mature though...

Grow up if you decide to cheat it will be YOUR fault not her's. How about talking to your wife.
