Thank you for bringing this up. I'm a frequent user of it, but I still know how to use the language and am also often troubled and baffled by such horrendous language. You can be sure the blame is to be solely placed upon the new "texing" generation which has little patience and much adoration for speed!

Some of us do.
People are lazy by nature. Hence, they fail to properly check their work for spelling and punctuation errors.

I blame it on all the texting and their use of abbreviations. So they invented an abbreviation for punctuation!!! They never use their spell checker either.

They think it's faster to type like that, I guess. I personally don't like to do it, because I think it's unintelligent. But hey, that's just me. =]
