When we were in the hospital I noticed that the diapers they provided had a yellow line at the bottom and the nurse told me that when the diaper gets wet it turns to blue.so I bought the same pampers swaddlers newborn from the store an I didnt find that yellow line thing, it was just plain?

Does any one know whether we can get those kind of diapers like I mentioned above?

Those are the swaddlers the thing is they are made specifically for the hospital contracts. thats why they don't have any brand names or pictures on the diapers. For what it's worth with swaddlers they will swell up immediately if any liquids hit the diaper. You don't need the line to tell you if baby peed. Just squish the diaper right in the crotch area. If it feels like there is gel in it then it's time for a change. Diapers are filled with an absorbant material that is similar to whats in sanitary pads for women. It sucks the liquids up and turns it into a gel to keep it away from the skin.

They had those at my hospital too. I'd look on the website as others have said. I just changed my son's diaper with every nursing session and anytime it swelled. I like the swaddlers best with or without the line. I was upset when I bought size 3 cruisers for my 2 yr old and they didn't have the same mesh lining. They sell them like that now though. Breastfed babies don't have solid poo until they're on table food and I found that lining absorbed more of it than any other diaper. Juust thought I'd add that. Good luck tracking them down!

Never seen them and the hospital provided a pack of swaddlers to me, but they didn't have a yellow line. The name brand tend to get "mushy" when wet. The store brands that I've tried are hard and its harder to tell when they are wet. I like luvs at home but provide walmart or kroger brand for the daycares use.

The hospital has a special contract with pampers. They get totaly different diapers that are sold in the store. I do believe that they are not available for sale but you could check their website.

I had the same kind... and the ones I bought at the store didn't have the line either. I wish I knew why they only make them for the hospital?!

Just touch the diaper area. It gets puffy when wet anyways from soaking, lol.

I don't think they sell that kind at the store. And our line didn't turn blue half the time.
