I agree with most of your lists except i would rate Justine Henin higher in both of the female lists and i would maybe put Lindsay Davenport in your "myish" era list instead of either Sanchez-Vicario or Capriati, and also one of the best womens matches i've ever seen and you dont hear about it much was 03 US Open semi between Capriati and Henin over 3-hours of pure quality, other than that i think your spot on with your lists mate!

I will ad two to the mix in your matches - 1982 Davis Cup, U.S. v Sweden - Mats Wilander was defeated in a five set, six-hour, 32 minute marathon, by John McEnroe.

1988 U.S. Open Finals - Wilander outlasts Ivan Lendl in a five set, nearly five-hour grinder, and to supplant Lendl as the top-ranked player in the world.

I rarely hear anything about these two classic marathons when pundits discuss the greatest matches - not just of an era - ever.

Good list of top players all time.

Personally i would go with Sampras and Federer being tied at #1. Kind of like 1A and 1B

I would also put Becker ahead of Edberg. He, along with Lendl, introduced the world to power tennis and his lifetime record vs. Edberg is 25-10.

You missed the 1996 Master Cup final between Sampras and Becker on your underrated great match list. That was one of the all time great match IMHO :)
