A gift card from a store she shops at. $50 is great.

I like gift cards, but Miss Etiquette says it means you didn't want to take the time to shop for them....pfffft!!

When I'm shopping and cant' find the right gift and my feet ache, they get a gift card. I just have to learn how to package it nicely. :)

Go to Crate and Barrel and get her something from there. Some cool things:

1)There're these olive wood serving dishes that are really cool. They're irregular shapes and have this really pretty dark wood with a neat grain pattern.
2) They have cedar planks that you cook salmon on and a spice rub that goes with it. It makes THE BEST salmon you've ever tasted. Plus you can use it on the grill or oven

I think a gift card is a good idea. 50 dollars is more than enough. My only suggestion is to figure what her favorite store is to shop at. Also another good Idea is if you 2 are close friendship wise a gag gift is also fun..combine the two and you have the perfect gift. Good luck

Buy a wooden frame ($2 or less) and decorate it with there interest/personality. In the middle put a picture of the 2 of you in it! Or make them a photoalbum of your friendship, include good times and insiders. Merry Christmas!

well if there is a limit set on the family then i would stick with that amount. find out from family where she likes to shop. and go there. gift cards are the best way to go.
