I know we bothered you all alot but I think we have decided on what to name our twin girls. We wanted a name with a meaning. We also wanted to name the girls after me (taryn grace) because we named my son after my husband so we decided on:

Faith Taryn
Grace Elaine

We love the names Elaine and Dahlia but we gave up Dahlia. Then because we decided on Grace Elaine and wanted the other to be named after me we put Taryn as a middle name and wanted something like Grace that had a meaning so we chose Faith. So how do you like the names?

Separately, I like them just fine, but I'd personally use Grace as a middle name as well (since Faith might be a bit hurt that her sister has one of mom's names as her given name, or conversely, Grace might feel she got the short end of the stick since her given name -- the one used daily -- isn't uniquely hers).

Likewise, the stereotypically matchy twin names simply aren't my style. After all, there are names that can MEAN faith and grace (such as Faye, Vera, Anna, Hannah, etc.) that wouldn't come across as the cheesy "Hope & Faith" sort, if you know what I mean.

That said, I actually think Faith Taryn (or Elaine Taryn, if you feel more strongly about using that option) and Dahlia Grace would be gorgeous, meaningful names for sisters! First names you love, middle names both from mom, and not the predictable matchy sort in the least ... rather complimentary, instead! What could be better?

So why give up on Dahlia? ;)

How do you pronounce Taryn? Is it TAR-inn? I definitely love Grace Elaine. I'm not so sure about Faith Taryn.

The other thing is, are you sure you want names that are so matchy-matchy? A lot of people frown upon naming children in sets, like Daisy and Rose, or Ruby and Pearl.

But congratulations on the girls. :)

I think you two made a good descision, Faith Taryn and Grace Elaine are very pretty names.

I like those names, but not together, they just don't flow well imo. I like Elaine as a first name, it's very pretty & you hardly ever hear it. Elaine Dahlia is nice I think.

I LOVE these names!

Faith and Grace.

Beautiful! And each of them are strong and beautiful alone on their own merits.

I have twin girls who are now 23!! Congratulations! You will have a life filled with joy -- twice the joy!

I like that you are choosing "non-twin" names! Different sounds, different first letters. This really helps to allow the girls to develop individuality.

Congratulations again! All the best!

I like them seperately. But together, they're a bit to matchy matchy for me. I know two little girls (sisters) named Summer and Autumn... and it's just TOO much.

And although I'm not sure what your son's name is, but I think it might be an odd sibset if you have Faith, Grace, and Mike (or whatever).

i dont think the flow of Grace Elaine is so good, i would do Grace Taryn, but then you cant realy say Faith Elaine it doesnt make much sense, so now i think your choice was a good choice.

Very nice names, sounds good to me. Hope it helps, and good luck with your girls. Don't sweat the little things and the big things usually work themselves out.. Relax and enjoy. Take a deep breath you will know when you see them if those names really fit the girls. I had my mind set on Jennifer for my daughter and when I first saw her the name Kimberley came to me. A mother knows.

i myself like Romany Willow as a results of fact its soo unique. i admire while people decide on names that there infants may be the only one in there classification to have it while they circulate to college. Its not as female as my type oftentimes is yet im extremely liking this. you're able to call her Romy for short. although, Noah Gabriel is so straight forward and uninteresting while in comparison with Romany. They dont sound like siblings. i'm hoping you pick some thing extra unique for a boy.
