And Kudos to all the kind souls here who have tried to do good things for people. All we can do is our best yes? We do and should admire ourselves for being the good people we are!

Congratulations, Scooter! It seems like it takes forever to get to one level to the next, and then, all of a sudden I am finally there. LOL I try to always be the best I can be. I would rather help others before helping myself. I don't admire myself, but I just try to survive.

I do know myself and I like me. As for true admiration (that is really a very big word), but I do know this - I would not want to be anyone else! I too appreciate all the good people on this site that try to do good things for others - and you will not believe how many hugs and pats on the back I got for my 5000 points. It was amazing! I like myself, and I am more comfortable in my skin than I have ever been. I try to be the best person I can every day...to improve on that as well. Don't always succeed but try! And yes that is all we can do.
Do I truly know myself? That is a deep question...I don't know, I mean I think I do but lately with the hassle with my daughter, I have to wonder. Were you referring to that?
Scooter you are one of my family too as are all the others in my Yahoo world and you know who your are!! Big hugs to all and I don't care if I get a vol!

look please read and understand what i am trying to say -- the first person you always have to look out for in life is your self -- not your parents your children your friends - just your self -- once you learn how to take care of your self than you will be able to take care of everyone -- your are not any good to me unless you have learned that!!! my dad taught me that and i always tried to pass it on to my troops -- unless they became the best trooper they could be they could not really help their family's == funny scooter while i am typing this the song in the back ground is "i just call to say i love you" hang in there tiger!!!

I have come to love myself. i have accepted me as just the way i am. i figure if i can't change my personality, might as well love me for it. I figured someday a guy will come along and love just exactly the way i am. and he did, and we are getting married next month.
