The earliest sign of a pregnancy, seen on transvaginal ultrasound, is at around 4 weeks. At that point, we can only see the gestational sac, but not a fetal pole. The fetal pole can be seen in the sixth week.

"The gestational sac is the earliest sonographic finding in pregnancy.....While a gestational sac is sometimes seen as early as during the 4th week of gestation, it may not be seen until the end of the 5th week, when the serum HCG levels have risen to 1000-1500 mIU.....The yolk sac first appears during the fifth week of pregnancy....A mass of fetal cells, separate from the yolk sac, first becomes apparent on transvaginal ultrasound just after the 6th week of gestation...."

maximum the time in basic terms a exterior. yet once you're extreme threat or there is something eles happening they'd do the two. I had placenta previa (uncertain spelling) once I wa pregnant with my son and that they did the two types a minimum of as quickly as a month. in the event that they'd desire to do the internal it is no longer undesirable in any respect there is not any soreness or something like that.

They can do one around 12-14 weeks. Sometimes they can do it at around 7 weeks as well. Here's the link to a site that may help you find even more information. It's at: http://forums.obgyn.net/pregnancy-birth
