Can i have more than one registered ebay account?
If so how would i do that? and what would be the downside and good side of it.
If i cant, why not?

1 per credit/debit card. Use one to buy; one to sell. Why? To keep your seller feedback as close to 100% as possible.

you can have a thousand if you want, just have to have a different email address for each. (your name, address, credit card can all be the same on each one).
Some people do this as they sell different types of items on each account.
Only downside is that if one of those accounts gets suspended, all the others go down with it.
To make a new account just click sign-up at the top again and enter all your info again, picking a new username and entering a new email.

as many as you want -- each one will have a different emall address -- really can not see and need for more than one!!!
