Is it possible that someone with delusions of granduer can at least be grand in life?

Usually people who have delusions of grandeur have although problems of which the delusions are a symptom. These other problems are usually what prevents them from actually performing well in life. Delusions of grandeur does not mean that people have grand dreams of things they would like to accomplish, but that the have an unrealistic outlook and idea of themselves as compared to the talents of others.
