I like names that are not very common but are very beautiful. So far I have:

Boys:
Sylas (or Silas)
Jace (or Jase)
Owen

I don't have any girls names. I am open to suggestions and I also want to know what you think of the others.

I would skip Silas. It's just too far back there and the nickname would be "Sy" like a sigh. Jace is good and sounds strong like 'place first in the race'! How about the initials JC for something respectable like Jameson Clay, Jackson Charles or Jaden Christopher, and then call him Jace as a nickname. That way he has an option and you get the best of both worlds. If you name him straight up Jace, how about Jace Andrew or Jace Alexander. Something with some importance to it. Please, not Silas. That would be borderline abuse. People would treat him differently.
For a girl, just looking at your boy choices, I am thinking maybe Jayna and Olivia. The right name will become evident..All the best.

I really like Silas (that spelling, the 'y' looks girly to me) and Owen. They are both fairly unique, although Owen is climbing in ranks. I agree that they are both beautiful. I also like Seth and Levi for boys.

For a girl, I like Bridget, Amelia, and Elliott...all of which are not terribly common, but I still find them to be rather beautiful. I would love to have an Elliott Eileen and call her Ellie. I also like Jada...or even better I like just Jade. I had wanted a Cassandra Jade, until I found out what Cassandra meant (seer or bringer of death).

I like your choices. Silas is the least common - I prefer that spelling over Sylas. Owen is getting pretty popular now - #58 last year and I would guess it will be much higher this year.

Silas is actually a neat name.
Jade is better than Jada though...

Other suggestions:
Marlie, Azure (girls)
Bretton, Keller (boys)

I like Silas, someone did point out that a nickname would probably be "Sy", but as long as you and he don't care...
I saw the name Anchoret on babynames.com the other day while looking up my friend's name and fell in love. IT is Welsh, menaing much loved. I also saw Villette (I think it would be pronounced Vee-lay since it is French.)

My girls are Indigo-Bell and Lydia-Rae. If the little one I am carrying at the moment is a girl she with be Karlyn. Or if its a boy Brashen (I have found most people hate it but my husband and I really like it) or if I am lucky enough to have twins again and have two boys the other will be Chase.
