An older man playing Christmas music on his "beat up" guitar in front of a library for change.

Just the other day! When you go to the grocery store around this time of the year, their are always people from the Salvation Army wanting donations!
I also gave food for the Feed my People group,and the Boyscouts!!
It is that time of year!!

I always do that on the weekend because I drive a lot on the week and so I carry $1 bills and change with me in case I see a homeless guy at the exit need help and sometimes I go to McDonald's and Buy like $25 Chicken Sandwich and go to San Diego Downtown and look for a helpless person and give it to them I know I don't have a lot to give but Feeding one person for a day will means something to god. so I know how it feel like asking for food or asking for a money to buy a food because I grew up in the Hood or a bad area before and as I was going to high school. This homeless guy goes by name of Oscar told me a lot of stuffs about being homeless and I didn't like anything that he said and so he was like my dad friend because he always come around with his pushing carts and my dad goes to the liquor store buy a beer and they drink it together and sometimes we make him sandwich and give him a drink. so it was cool helping a homeless guy and so we move from that area and I went to two year college and graduated and now I got a perfect job and I play to use my success by helping out the people who need it and also because I'm a catholic and so I need to help out the poor so we can both go and see god after life. that is my motivation of life is helping someone who is misfortune than you. and you should be proud of your self for help out someone. I know it feels good or you feel good about doing so do I. good question. a Star for you.

Its been awhile for me...but I have gave a Good Bit to the Salvation Army this year...

I'm broke right now and Christmas will be tight. Hopefully some overtime will keep the bills paid. Right now there isn't cash to share, but early last year I bought some stuff to put away to donate this Christmas to those in need. I'm still going to do that and it will help me from feeling desperate.

I was at wal mart and this lady came up to me selling coffee cups of chocolates and santa stuffed toy and candy so she could have a good christmas for her 3 kids.

honestly, she needed to get a job if she has 3 kids but I gave her $10 for the stuff which was more than she was selling it for.

This 12 months i myself donated "presents" to charities for my buddies who've each thing. it form of feels like the "stuff and issues" that I supply them finally end up in a drawer, in simple terms like mine. there are maximum of folk who go through and deserve extra. fairly of spending $50 or $two hundred on stuff, i desperate to donate the money to a charity of their call. And, all of us certainly became into satisfied approximately it. I continuously supply and now in line with threat i've got taught others the exhilaration of giving to those much less fortunate.

I honestly don't remember, but my mother used to get mad when I gave guys $10.00-$20.00. She always said it was too much. She's sweet, but I guess she thought I was being a little too generous. At the time, I had it like that.
