ok .. first clean the coils.... either behind or under the refrigerator... next open the freezer and feel to see if it is blowing air out... sometimes.. the fan gets hung up... mine is a piece of junk and does this from time to time... here are some of the things i do... ALWAYS UNPLUG IT FIRST!!!! Check to see if drain is plugged.. probably in bottom of inside (under veggie drawer) if it is, run a pipe cleaner or similar thru to get it open... dump drain pan located under fridge ... sometimes mine freezes up and i take everything out of freezer, unscrew plastic covers on floor of and running down middle of back wall of inside of freezer and remove ice build up... one time the fan was not running because a piece of insulation had fallen onto it and jammed it. just remember when removing ice -- do NOT use sharp object! You could really screw it up! lol if this doesn't work you might want to call a repairman. :(
Good luck

Possibly, but not usually. Pull it away from the wall. Do you see a radiator like thing behind it? Is it full of dirt? Clean it well but use caution so as not to bend any of the tubes..
Open the freezer. Is it cold in there? There is a fan that moves air from the freezer to the other compartment, push the button on the door so the door thinks it's closed, and listen. Is there a fan running now moving air? If so, is there something blocking that air flow? Free it up. If not, see if you can get to the fan and see if perhaps it is blocked by something. See if it will turn by hand. Maybe it needs a little oil.
That's about all you can do do-it-yourself, so if that doesn't help, call the repair man in. Sears fixes them all they say.

Yeah it could be the compressor needs to be recharged with new refrigerant.
probaly cheaper to buy a new one.
buy the time they test it for leaks and make sure that all the old freon is out of it. And then put new refrigerant into it it will end up costing you as much as a cheap new one.

Call an appliance repairman...too many things that you would have no way of fixing. The timer for defrost cycle might be stuck...which doesn't allow cooling to come on...could be freon leak...may be compressor has gone bad...could be thermostat is bad.

Unplug and let stand for a while. The problem could be that it froze up and will work again after it "rests" for a bit.

If it has been working for months or years than use the warranty to replace it, or if it has just recently been put in, give it a day for the chemicals and gasses to work properly in the frige,
Can i also reccomend checking the temperature control ;)
