Do you prefer a pen or a pencil to write with? Also what reasons?

I like using the Pilot G-2 pen. I like this pen, because it has a rubber grib on it. I work with parts that are oily at times.

I'm left handed so I prefer to write with pens that aren't gel pens because otherwise I smear it

The keyboard works best for me.

When I do write or sketch by hand, I usually use a pen. I NEVER erase anything. It takes up too much time, and, after scanning an image into the computer, I can fix up any lines I don't like.

i prefer pen cause pens have that affect on people, but i write like ten times better with pencil because i can control it beter, a pen has the ball thing (well most do) and it usually is hard to draw and write with

I consider pencils good for anything that you may want to alter... drafts of letters, sketches, designs, maps etc.
But pens are better for the final draft.
A pen looks so much more professional and neater.

I like pencils because of the brilliant eraser. Erasable pens just aren't the same are they?

i used to have big problems when I was younger writing , due to being left handed.. so I would smudge writing that wasn't dry..

i type faster than I write..so prefer that

my writing is ok. but sometimes I smudge stuff and it does annoy me even after all these years.

what a question to ask !!! pensils can be easier to erease stuff. pens are for more professional things.. a lawyer cannot write with a pencil !!

I prefer crayons, macaroni and cheese orange to be specific and always crayola and never rose art
