i tried reading the amendments myself, but there hell confusing
they gotta use all those big words so i cant understand it :(

If you find the actual text confusing, I seriously doubt anyone can explain them in terms you will understand. Unlike modern attorneys, the Framers of the Constitution intended their writings to be understood by the average person. I have NEVER seen any explanation that was as easy to understand as the actual amendments.

They mean just what they say. In general, they restrict governmental power and give us our civil rights: the government is not allowed to control our religion, our speech, our meeting with others, our travel, our newspapers, etc. etc.
