I thought you meant a race to get married before I opened the question, lol...
In all honesty, no. Some of my family might, or at least pretend to, but unfortunately, I have relatives who can be very racist. Thank God I'm not!
Besides, I dont need their approval to be in love.

For some members it might have been difficult but if he was a good guy, yes, I think that they would. My older cousin married someone of a different race over thirty years ago when that was definitely not a common occurrence and most of the family was eventually fine with it. Certainly everyone loved and was proud of the kids that resulted.

Marriage is the joining of two people. A new and origional celebration of two people joinong finances and housing. I think 50/50 chance of approval. But thats the same as with the same race!!!! Accemptment isn't the goal. Life is.

I think so. My father only warned me once as a teen that a mixed race relationship can be difficult. Especially if there are children, (hard on them). I think he just didn't want a difficult life for any of his kids, but would support us in whatever made us happy. I think this would be true of most of my family.

No. My family would not. Never in 100 years. My husband is 10 years older than me and they had a really hard time with that.
But maybe your family is more concerned with your happiness than the issue. Good luck. ***Marry for love. Only then can true happiness be revealed.***

My extended family...I'd have to say NO. My mom and dad though I'd have to say yes. I agree with somebody that already answred though in that it doesn't matter what they think, but what the two people involved think.
