NO! neither will a penny.

mythbusters did a show on that and they busted the myth. a penny could not kill someone. it would hurt a lot, but it wouldn't kill you.

neither would a freshly baked muffin.

now if it was 12 weeks old and hard as a rock, then maybe.

Almost certainly not. When people think about objects dropped from great heights, they forget that there is something called air friction to take into account. Because air has mass, a falling object has to exert a force on these molecules to push them aside; in turn, these air molecules push on the object with a force that resists the object's fall through the air. We call this force air friction (or air resistance). If you dropped an object like a muffin through the air, the air resistance would prevent the falling muffin from reaching very high speeds, and would not be likely to attain the speeds necessary to cause damage. In fact, it is very unlikely that a penny dropped from a tall building could kill someone, since air friction would keep it from reaching very high speeds. However, I do not recommend that you try this experiment on an unsuspecting public.

Neither a penny, nor a muffin will kill anyone if dropped from a tall building. The guys on Myth Busters tested this one. The items have low mass/weight and cannot fall fast enough to penetrate skin, much less kill.

No it will not hurt anyone Any object falling reaches its max speed in the first 32 feet and we know a muffin doesnt weigh much. However you may confuse someone, tou will have wondering where the hell a muffin came from

On TV "The Myth Busters" did a bit about the falling penny and pretty well showed that it would *not* kill you. So, if a penny won't then I doubt a muffin would...unless it's one baked by my mother-in-law : )
