Elton's "heaviest" album was "Leather Jackets" (Geffen 24114), released November 1986. "Go It Alone" (side 1 track 4) Was the most "metal" sounding track.

Only real heavy rock type song that I can think of that Elton John did was All The Young Girls Love Alice off of Goodbye to Yellowbrick Road

A LOT of his intermediate stuff was heavy on the metal. Almost every song on Goodbye Yellowbrick Road is straight-up rock and roll with a LOT of electric guitar. Not all his stuff is about dead blondes.

'Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting' but he has SO MANY guitar-driven songs that are so much better than this 70s hit!! :)

"Bennie and The Jets" was the first song I thought of, but I'm not sure.

Good luck with your search.
