No, not really, only by a few but that is usually because they don't try to understand anyone but themselves!!

Yes, it seems so. At work I often get corrected for things I haven't done yet. It seems they anticipate that I'm going to accidentally burn the building down or something. When I make a decision about something work related it is always questioned, whether the decision was the right thing or not. When I write a report on a child it always has to go through 2 people who incessantly rewrite the report even though neither one of them are never witness to what the report is about. I went to school for 4 years to do what I do and for some reason I'm the most incompetent person in the building. I really hate to say this because it might come across as sexist but I work with nobody else besides women. For that reason my way of thinking may differ from their way of thinking. I don't consider that a bad thing, just something that makes us different. My motives and intentions with my classroom are always under question by all of them even though absolutely everything I do has specific purpose. When I try to explain my purpose for whatever I'm doing I am always met with resistance and their better ways of doing things. I had to undergo and endure training on how to change a diaper even though I have a CNA certification and I'm licensed in my state as a professional caregiver along with a college education. I've been told that since I don't have children I can't possibly know how a parent should react on objective reports I have to submit. While I undertand that a parent might be touchy about their child and I try to take that into consideration and while it is true that I don't have children I try to point out to my peers and supevisors that I am also not an idiot.
I'm sorry; this question became a vent for me. I hope you'll forgive me. Thanks for the opportunity though. Have a wonderful day!

Baby, do you understand me now
Sometimes I feel a little mad
Well don't you know that no-one alive
Can always be an angel
When things go wrong I seem to be bad

I'm just a soul who's intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

Baby, sometimes I'm so carefree
With a joy that's hard to hide
And sometimes it seems that
All I have to do is worry
And then you're bound to see my other side

I'm just a soul who's intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

If I seem edgy, I want you to know
That I never mean to take it out on you
Life has it's problems and I get my share
And that's one thing I never mean to do

'cause I love you
Oh, oh, oh, baby, don't you know I'm human
Have thoughts like any other one
Sometimes I find myself alone and regretting
Some foolish thing, some little simple thing I've done

I'm just a soul who's intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

Yes, I'm just a soul who's intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

Yes, I'm just a soul who's intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

Yes, I'm just a soul who's intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

Yeah. I often blurt out the truth with out being tactful. It's important not to hurt someones feelings.

No, but some folks look at me strangely when I make my contribution to ongoing conversation. I am sort of an iconoclast, and seek my own answers. I do not mainstream, and like simplicity.
