i live in california...n this is how we r ripped off.
a college text book whose price goes up to $126 just because of a card that has a pin number u can use online at the publisher's website....it always happens that we dont use that pin number at all, but we r still forced to pay $126. the name of the book is principles of economics.
also at thai and indian restaurent u can often get ripped off for very less food.
buying a lipton iced tea bottle....u can make it at home, why would u even buy it from the store?
having a hotdog from 7-11...no different from the one u make at home...yet u pay $1.69 for it.
a tanktop should not cost more than $4...but its price is similar to a full top's.

A shot of whiskey. You pay a lot for just a drink of whiskey and then it's gone. Best to buy a whole bottle and pour it yourself.lol. Also cable TV.They first started so you could watch television with no commercials. Now, there are more commercials then show, almost.

Lol my community landlord says he would not suggestions making me a coffee (i do no longer drink alcohol) he makes greater income on delicate drinks than he does on booze, he has to make a living or the pub would not be there, do no longer blame the community landlord, the chains that very own those pubs and motels cost their landlords and bosses extortionate rents and the money to pay for it has to return from revenues! company costs are levied on the rentable fee of a supplies so the owner gets stung two times, as quickly as by potential of the vendors and as quickly as by potential of the government, he must be paying £10,000 or greater consistent with month in hire and charges, the earnings on beer are low, you will possibly could sell an poor lot of it to cover the fee, replace your inventory and then make a living, by fact of this maximum of pubs have grew to become to nutrients to objective to cover their costs!

living in Ireland
VRT = vehicle registration tax. 14% to 36%
14% for eco clean cars 36%for the big gas guzzler
VRT is added to cost of importing a car into country. it gos Price (inc shipping)+VRT+Tax+customs+(anything else)= "car price"
VRT is still effected by the "open market price" in other words the "car price" above is taken into account before you even import the car.
regular yearly motor tax is also horribly can be €4,000 $5,500 for the bigger cars. this goverment is constantly trying to force people into living in cities and giving up their cars to use a nonexistant public transport service

Any brand-name label, whether it's clothing like Prada, Gucci, Lacoste, Nike, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, etc...
... or beauty accessories like stuff at Holt Renfrew (Canadian), Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, etc...
... and everything really that is more expensive mainly because of their large brand name.

Gas - very overpriced
Getting any in-home repairs. You pay for labor and parts, then on top of that you have to pay a service charge.
