Yes, I have certification through the Red Cross. I drove special needs students on a school van for 2 years and it was required by law to know CPR. I've never had to perform it but one never knows when a situation could arise where it is needed. I did have children who had seizures at home and other similar difficulties, but thankfully never on my van.

* Perhaps I should clarify what I meant by saying I was thankful none of the children ever had difficulties on the van. I would have hated to be driving and know that a child was in the back seat with severe problems and that I might not be able to react quick enough to bring immediate comfort to the child. I loved all of my kids on the van when I drove and I have nothing but love and compassion for disabled children and adults. I've been a volunteer and advocate for them for over 20 years..

No and I'll explain why. When I was in highschool we were required to learn it but I felt extremely embarrassed about learning to do it in front of other people so I just skipped the whole thing. For some reason I don't like doing anything in front of people, especially speaking.
