Well figuring a birthing room is usually only allowed to hold 3 people in the room. If you alternate grandparents in the hospital with your husband up until the baby is born and also have a cousin or friend come along that could help as well. Brother or sister, anyone that you could possibly leave the children with could be a blessing. Honestly though, grandfathers don't usually want to see their daughters giving birth (experience) so they tend to wait until after the legs are closed and the baby or babies (in your case) are born. Also you could find a round the clock daycare or even a daycare that you don't have to pay but by the hour. Have them stay at friends houses; or pay a babysitter. I have my son, but he's probably going to be either in school when it happens or in bed; or possibly with his Pop pop. I hope this helps! Good Luck!

Gosh, you're just now thinking of this?! What would you had done if you had gone into labor unexpectedly?!
Wow, anyway.
I'm due on Christmas Eve, and I'm being induced this coming up Wednesday.
On Wednesday night, my 2 year old will be with my best friend. Thursday, when she comes to the hospital to see the baby, she'll bring my son and he'll leave with my sister. Friday morning when my sister goes to work, she'll take my son to my mother... who will keep him until we come home from the hospital on Saturday afternoon. :)
Goodluck.... with your SECOND set of twins? OMG!
Congratulations.

I had the same concern when I had my second baby b/c my husband is in the army so we're not by family. Anwyay, when I went into labor we all went to the hospital and I had to go into triage and sit there by myself and then went to my room and sat there by myself. My husband took our daughter to our friends house so he could see the birth and our daughter stayed one night at our friends house. My husband stayed with me one night b/c I had a c-section and I needed help with getting the baby out of the bassinet at night. I stayed the next two nights there by myself with the baby and my husband had our firstborn and brought her to see me during the day.

I left my daughter with my parents (obviously is different then two kiddos) but if you are friends with any neighbors then see if they can watch your twins- then when the delivery is all donw with see if your parents can get them for the remainder of your stay.

Well we left my son with his grandmother. She would like to see the birth but we needed her to watch him. LOL I am due with my 3rd now so she will watch both kids while I deliver.
