My father always said " If you can't pay cash for it, you can't afford it and you probably did not need it anyway". BUT under to days ways of doing things you need one of some type, You can't rent a car or a hotel room w/o one. And many other reasons, it is all right to use a credit card but don't abuse it, if you can't pay it off in 2 payments don't buy it. Credit cards are the biggest problem to-day outside of home mortgages and excessive car payments. To many people buy things they don't need like all these electronic games etc. You know what I mean.
