I would say feminists are the lessor naughty of the two. A man that treats a woman as a lessor. Is lame at best. Women have the right to do whatever they are capable of.

I think anyone who is 'over the top' can be difficult. I don't think a feminist is the same thing as a male chauvinist.
Consider that a male chauvinist is a man whose behaviour and attitude toward women indicate a belief that they are innately inferior to men.
Now consider that a feminist is someone who believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.
You see one is based on inferiority while the other is based on equality.
I think men who demean women are no better then women who demean men... but I wouldn't think that would make that women a feminist at all... she's just not very nice.

That's an awesome question.
A TRUE feminist wants equality between both genders. Equal opportunity, equal treatment, etc. These women are better than any chauvinist.
I've noticed that some "feminists" today don't have these values. It seems that some of these women think that they are better than the opposite gender. So, these women are just as bad.

Worse. A chauvinist is consistent with his views. A feminist will flip/flop according to what they want. They say they want equality but are happy for anything punitive "to make up for all the other times".

Both fail to realize that human beings contain both feminine and masculine traits. We are not complete unless we allow both aspects to flourish. A man who becomes a father, quickly gets in touch with his nurturing, caring side.
A woman who wants to rise up the corporate ladder, quickly gets in touch with her masculine side (assertiveness, desire for power, strength).
Rather than wear a label like "feminist", it might perhaps be more fruitful to act like a leader and lead a life that can serve as a great example.
Indeed, words or concepts or movements or manifesto do not teach. The best teachers influence others through the clarity of their example.

absolutely as they believe they are right in everything as they have their 'cause' and want to make it all equal for women etc and are stubborn in their ways of thinking and doing things ....a male chauvinistic pig is just a man with no sense or brains and no smart person would listen to anyways :-)

Sometimes worse. They seem to think that the world owes them something for "holding them down" for so long. I personally have no problem with the way we are treated. I understand way back in the day when women just didnt matter. Its nice to have rights but sometimes it seems that feminists go a little overboard.

No. Feminists believe in female rights. Male chauvinists do not.

No. Feminists want the same courtesy and considerations that men extend to each other. What's wrong with that? And don't forget - a lot of us men are feminists too. All my friends and neighbors know I'm a combat veteran and can hold my own in a great many tests of one's manhood - and not one of them gives me grief for being a feminist.

No, because they do seem to have a more reasoned approach to their positions, but I still don't see them giving the choice they so much demand to be anything they want to people who might be content to be just a homemaker.
On the other hand, I don't think a lot of homemakers myself. My bad, I guess.
