I've looked online and at Party City, but I'm not finding but one thing. Any ideas? Also I need ideas for what to say on a divorce cake!

This is a divorce party for my mother-in-law. She has been going through a HORRIBLY NASTY divorce for the past 3 1/2 years!!! Her husband has been refusing to sign the papers the whole time and Monday it will finally be over with! :-D
By the way... great ideas so far!!! Keep 'em coming!

Divorce parties are more like a bunch of female friends and starting over. F the ex on the cake, or byebye loser, etc. Maybe make it a sex toy party, as in a tupperware type thing, all show and tell, really, but fun when with friends. And a toy can be your best friend, for a while...after a divorce.

ahaha what a good idea!
Ok, all my answers are going to be cliche im afraid
"Free at last!"
"F*** (insert name)"
Or you could just do pictures or think of something signifigant to the person your planning for, some image or saying that is an inside joke to them. I found this idea somewhere:
"Obscenely decorated cakes. My favorite so far (at a female only party, of course) was the anatomically correct testicles and teeny tiny phallus. The climax of the party was the ceremonial cutting off and flushing down the toilet of the tiny phallus, followed by cutting up and enjoying the balls. "
Infact that link in general has fun ideas

Im not sure where you live but Iparty probably has a ton of good stuff. Or you could again think of personal jokes that you can find at a regular party store and alter it to fit your purpose. Or you could order online...

Ooohhh sh*t! Actually having a party for getting divorced? Cold. Try making your own stuff. Personalize items that symbolize divorce

you can always google divorce party supplies. Or you can make your own. You can say on the divorce cake "I Am Finally Free".

I feel sorry for you. I've never heard of a more lousy reason for a party. Just for your information, a divorce is NOT a reason to have a party. I'd be ashamed to call anybody a friend, if they had poor enough taste to celebrate the death of a marriage.

Sounds like fun can I come too?
On the cake - ALONE at LAST - It's party time!!! OR
HAPPY AT LAST! BRIDE NO LONGER! Who Needs a He when I can have Him Him and Him!
If you can't find a divorced party theme get the "bride to be" theme and with a marker add "USED" before "to be".
Which now reads, "Bride Used to be"

LOL...clearly you are pretty happy about the divorce!! Just go to the party store and buy the smiley face plates, etc....shows how happy you are. As for the cake...maybe a bride and groom topper with the groom knocked off! Have fun at your party!!

Many party stores have items relating to divorce stuff, but it's not AS popular as other themes. However, try this:
